Sondra McCotter is a qualified Licensed Professional Counselor and second-generation Alaskan. Sondra attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando for three years. After returning to Alaska in 2004 Sondra earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Human Development before going on to complete a Master's of Science in Counseling Psychology with a secondary endorsement for K-12 counseling and school guidance.
Sondra's work focus includes topics such as, crisis intervention, social skills, self-esteem, self-injurious behavior, trauma and abuse, gender identity and sexuality, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, learning disabilities, academic accommodations, behavior modifications, parenting, and family dynamics. Sondra enjoys art, music, camping, and family.
